LIFTMAN FOLD MAN LIFT
Reglo’s Liftman Fold man lift is designed and developed for the offshore and onshore segments for oil and gas installations and the chemical industry.
Typical this would be offshore oil and gas installations /rigs, onshore oil and gas installations /rigs and various chemical plants. This portable work platform has built-in safety features to ensure safe operations both onshore, offshore and inland chemical plants. Today, the Liftman Fold man lift is in operation at both stationary and floating (FPSO) oil & gas installations.
User segments for Liftman Fold
The Liftman Fold is specially designed for oil and gas installations and chemical plants – offshore or onshore – in ATEX-environments. The Liftman fold is in use in electrical, painting and mechanical departments offshore at rigs, platforms and FPSO’s and onshore at refineries. It is certified for use both inside and outdoors, and it operates in a max. inclination of 6,5 degrees, at a wind speed of 12,5m/sec and 5m of significant wave height.
Energy
The Liftman Fold needs compressed air to be operated. 7 bars is the recommended pressure. Air outlets are normally accessible in different parts of an oil rig or an onshore oil and gas installation. In areas without air outlets, a scuba diving bottle is perfect to use instead. Liftman Fold can be equipped with a diving bottle reservoir.
How you control the Liftman Fold
The Liftman Fold is moved manually from workplace to workplace by using a handle. Four outriggers needs to be deployed and have firm contact with the floor before the Liftman Fold allows upwards movement. Up and down movement is controlled from the cage by the operator using compressed air as energy. In cases where no outlet for compressed air is available, scuba diving tanks can be used. The Liftman Fold can be used with the mast folded as well.
Liftman Fold reduces the need for scaffolding – increases safety at heights
The certified pneumatic personal man lift – Liftman Fold – reduces the need for scaffolds when doing maintenance. Avoiding the use of scaffolds reduces the cost and time spent on maintenance work. Planned and unplanned maintenance work can be executed in a very effective and cost saving way. The foldable man lift also increases the safety for working at height on offshore or onshore platform.
Flexibility
The Liftman Fold man lift has a foldable mast, which allows the man lift to be transported through narrow passages, and into ie elevators, so that the unit can be moved to another level inside a platform or building for maintenance work. The personal man lift – Liftman Fold – is moved manually by using an integrated handle. The up/down function is driven by compressed air.
ATEX
As offshore, onshore and chemical plants have ATEX-zones (where explosive gases and fumes are present), they require equipment which complies with norms and standards for operation in these environments. The Liftman Fold man lift complies with operation in an ATEX environment combined with the laws and regulations for working at height. It is even certified for operations outdoors as well.
